Carlos' "Architects Of A New Dawn" (AOAND) Launches Socially-Conscious Website
Carlos has rocketed into the new year by launching a new website designed to engage people of all walks of life to work together to create positive change in the global community where love can replace fear and where peace can replace conflict.
Architects Of A New Dawn is a community network site based on creativity, peace, love and understanding that lets people post messages, videos, and photos.
“One of the things that has become very clear to me in recent months is that after carrying an idea in my mind and soul for decades that the time had come to bring my vision of Architects Of A New Dawn into reality,” said Santana. “The world today is as deeply challenged as it is inspired. Never has there been a more profound time to harness the possibilities for positive change, especially in this era of mass communication. This is my invitation to you to join us in this transformational work.

Carlos is honored at ONEXONE event in San Francisco (10/23/08)
On October 23rd, 2008 Carlos was honored at the OneXOne charity fundraiser in San Francisco, CA. Carlos received the “Difference” Award for his work with Artists for a New South Africa (ANSA) & the Milagro Foundation. IN addition to giving an acceptance speech, Carlos also jammed with Wyclef Jean and his band. They played Maria Maria & Lujon. Matt Damon, David Arquette and Wyclef also spoke at the event and Josh Groban performed as well. Proceeds from the event went to ONEXONE, About Water Partners & Yélé Haiti.
ONEXONE is a non-profit foundation committed to supporting, preserving and improving the lives of children at home in Canada, the United States, and around the world. Through an annual campaign, ONEXONE is dedicated to helping create a world where children can live safely and with dignity.
