Carlos Santana and Clive Davis, Chief Creative Officer of Sony Music Entertainment, collaborated on the brand new concept album, GUITAR HEAVEN: THE GREATEST GUITAR CLASSICS OF ALL TIME, arriving in stores September 21st on Arista Records. The album was co-produced by Carlos Santana and Clive Davis with tracks produced by Matt Serletic and Howard Benson.

Carlos Santana records "Claro Que Se Puede" for "Proyecto de Amor" ("project of love") for Hermes Music Foundation

Willie Nelson, Carlos Santana and Del Castillo are some of the artists
featured on "Claro Que Se Puede," a new pro-immigrant track to be
released next month. The track will appear on "Proyecto de Amor" ("project of love"), a
13-track album produced by the Hermes Music Foundation and set for
release this fall. Proceeds from the album's sale will benefit the Hermes Music Foundation.
The Hermes Music Foundation, which raises funds for children's health
programs in Mexico, will split the proceeds with Delores Huerta's social justice
and community organizing foundation.

Carlos and the band are in the studio today to begin working on the next Santana record, tentatively due out in the late Spring/early Summer of 2010. The record will be released through RCA/J Records with Carlos and Clive Davis as the Executive Producers. Look for photos and recording updates in the months to come!
